How can “Scheu” possibly be pronounced “shy”? And who is this shy guy?
The answer to the first question is: it’s mangled German, and your guess is as good as mine. The answer to the second question is: I was born in Cambridge, grew up in Vermont, went to school in beautiful Rochester NY, and have come full circle back to Boston. I work for a social marketing company called Brand Networks that helps connect brands with their consumers and fans through social networking and social media. I have a background in web development as well as marketing, so I don’t just use social media tools, I build them.
And the answer to the third (implicit) question is, I’m not nearly as shy as my name would suggest and I’d love to connect with you. Let’s hook up on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, or anywhere else – or even send me one of those old-fashioned “emails”.
